Megalagrion Xanthomelas (Orangeblack Hawaiian Damselfly). Endemic
Once thought to be extinct on Maui. It's a native coastal and lowland species, most often found in areas with fresh water springs and anchialine ponds. Kim and Forest Starr ( http://www.starrenvironmental.com/ ) found this damselfy in both Kanaio and Ukumehame a couple of years before I found them in Olowalu.
